An Interview With Andreas Antonopoulos

Less than a year ago I was working in landscaping and listening to podcasts. Lots of podcasts.

One of those podcasts was Let’s Talk Bitcoin. It was one of the first technology podcasts I started listening to. Most of my digital education up to this point had (depressingly) consisted of learning how to use Microsoft Office in school, but there was something I found deeply compelling about the ideas and rate of innovation in cryptocurrency that changed this.

I credit the show’s hosts and particularly host Andreas Antonopoulos as being instrumental in communicating those ideas to me as a complete newcomer to Bitcoin, distributed ledgers, and the theme of decentralized tech in general. Now I’m working with a leading bitcoin company and communicating these ideas daily as a marketer, writer, and podcaster. It has been a trip (to say the least) but having a chance to thank many of the people who I feel have helped me to this point has been even more rewarding.

This week was one such opportunity, and I hope that I did it justice. I had the great pleasure of interviewing Andreas alongside my co-hosts on DECENTRALIZE. You can watch the show below to hear our conversation about his work with on enterprise multisignature Bitcoin security with Third Key Solutions, his thoughts on Bitcoin Core development, and his own philosophical convictions around the importance of decentralization.

I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
