Miss the Christmas Shipping Deadline? Here Are Five Great Digital Gift Alternatives

So, you’ve missed the Christmas shipping deadline, eh?

That doesn’t mean you have to give up on winning Christmas. You just have to be creative. Try one of these digital backups if all else fails.

1. Give an Airbnb gift card.

You can give the experience of travel and adventure with a digital Airbnb gift card. Send amounts starting at $25, and give your recipient what they need to see the big world.

2. Create a Spotify mixtape

People don’t use tapes anymore. They don’t even use CDs. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still create a mean mixtape. Just use Spotify, make the playlist public, and share it with your recipient. This is a great way to celebrate common tastes in music or feed growing new tastes.

3. Print out a digital item

Found a great design online? You don’t have to wait for the design-branded product to print, get packed, and ship. These days, as long as you have a computer and a non-excessive file size, you can get anything printed. FedEx office can help you with most of these projects.

4. Give a Udemy course

Know someone who wants to learn how to launch a podcast? Do men’s yoga? With learning platform Udemy, you can re-gift video learning courses to other users.

5, Provide digital tools.

That podcasting friend? She might need some capital to get off the ground. You can help by giving her the tools she needs: website hosting, domain name(s), audio hosting, etc. You can buy many of these services cheaply.
