Reconcile All Things

Love the very old and the very new

Honor the tradition and change it

Remember the dead and the not-yet-born

Live in skyscrapers and shacks

Respect the natural and the manmade

Be conservative and liberal and neither

Be gentle and fierce

Be proud and humble

Be greedy and generous

Lead and serve

Love peace and conflict

Seek justice and mercy

Leave school and learn more

Be responsible and quit your job

Make wealth and give it away

Explore the world and know your backyard

Be a nomad and return home

Keep a sabbath and work harder

Spend time with elders and the young

Seek truth and love stories

Keep secrets and reveal all

Live with beauty and ugliness

Be satisfied and unsatisfied

Accept the present and protest against it

Dance and mourn

Move fast and take it slow

Think and quiet your mind

Speak and be silent

Shout and whisper

Fail and win

Be wrong and be right

Be a believer and a skeptic

Be darkness and light

Be masculine and feminine

Be wise and be foolish

Be holy and irreverent

Leave the middle road

Create a new one

Bring together the opposites

Reconcile to yourself all things

Stay in the know.
